Can I ask what process is adopted by these "industry associations" in determining their "views?".
Do they survey their members? Do they open these topics up for discussion at forums? Or do they simply apply their own personal opinions?
If I'm being represented by a so called "industry association", I'd like to think that my personal views would be taken into consideration when the "industry association" arrives at a position.
Or am I just be too naive?
Whose opinion should an industry association represent? The boards' or the members?
